Copper Marans hatching eggs 1dz
The Maran breed originates from a town called Marans, France and belongs in the Continental Class of the American Poultry Association. It is a very winter hardy breed with a docile temperament. They are more athletic and take to foraging and free ranging more often than other breeds. The Black Copper Maran lays approximately 200 dark brown eggs per year. We do use our Marans for exhibition.
