Buff Brahma Chickens are the newest and rarest color of Brahmas. They have a massive body and feathered shanks and outer toes, making the Buff Brahma truly unique. Buff Brahmas are a slow-growing dual-purpose breed and lay around 4-6 brown eggs per week.
Buff Brahmas are very docile and make gentle mothers as well as great pets. They are heat and cold hardy. Buff Brahmas are considered a sustainable heritage breed chicken. Brahams can lay up to 200 light brown eggs per year. Brahams are in the Asiatic Class of the American Poultry Association.  We do use our brahmas for exhibition and this flock is young and still growing.
