Black Amerucana 1dz Hatching Eggs

The Ameraucana chicken is known for its beard and muffs as well as its blue tinted eggs.  Our black ameraucana flock we use for exhibition and focus on the sky blue egg color without a green tint.  Although the green tint is permissible in both the Ameraucana Breeders Club and Ameraucana Alliance we try to breed away from it.  Ameraucana chickens lay approximately 180-200 eggs per year.  A true ameraucana chicken will not have yellow feet bottoms or yellow tinted legs. The Ameraucana chicken is found it the All Other Standard Breed class in the American Poultry Association.
